Which standard do we follow?
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is the standard most accessibility laws and courts point to. We test pages with automated checks and by hand with a keyboard, and we fix what we find.
What have we done so far?
- A "Skip to Main Content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
- Text alternatives on images, and labels on every field in the quote form.
- Text and link colors chosen to meet contrast requirements.
- A pause button on the moving video on the home page.
- Pages that work when zoomed and on phones of any size.
Are there any known limits?
Some content on this site comes from other companies, such as the embedded Google Map and the Google reCAPTCHA check on our forms. We cannot fully control how accessible those tools are.
The employment applications are PDF forms. If you have trouble filling one out, call us and we will take your application over the phone or send it to you in another format.
How do you report a problem?
If something on this site is hard to use, tell us. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and we will get you the information you need while we fix it.
